This is by far the best fusion/combination I’ve tried !! It’s soft and moist on the inside (cuz of the juicy apples) and crunchy/crumbly on the outside. The addition of crumbles made it a whole lot better. Nothing gets better than a warm muffin or cookie with a glass of milk. The combination of both with a fruit takes it to a different level. So try the recipe and let me know how it turns out.!.

INGREDIENTS
**MUFFIN BATTER**
Milk – 60 ml
Vegetable oil – 40 ml
Egg – 1/2
Vanilla Essence – 1/2 tsp
Flour – 80g
Castor sugar – 50g
Baking powder -1 tsp
Salt – pinch
Apple – 1
**CRUMBLE**
Chilled Butter – 20g
Granulated sugar – 15 g
Flour – 25g
METHOD
- Add milk, oil,egg and essence to a bowl and whisk well until combined

2. Add sifted flour, castor sugar, baking powder and salt to another bowl. Mix well.
3. Peel and chop apples into cubes. Add the chopped apple to the dry ingredients bowl and toss well until coated.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until no lumps are left.
5. Line your muffin tray with muffin molds and pour the batter until 3/4 full.
6. Meanwhile prepare the crumble by adding all the ingredients to a bowl and rubbing them between your fingers until they reach a sand like texture.
7. Add the crumble on top of the batter to cover the top.
8. Bake the muffin in a 160-170 C preheated oven for 15-20 mins until cooked through.
9. Voila !! Enjoy your warm muffin.
